Meteorological parameters such as air temperature, precipitation, humidity, radiation, wind speed and direction describe the weather in the short term and the climate in the long term. They significantly determine the development of the forest and are important parameters in the water cycle. The parameters are recorded using automated measurement methods in open areas. Precipitation, an important input variable in the water balance, is collected several times with automatic collectors and also with manual collectors.
