Forest stand climate

The interior forest climate differs from the climate in open areas or areas with little vegetation. This is due, for example, to the shade provided by the treetops: Less solar radiation reaches the ground and the conversion into heat is lower - it remains cooler. The proportion of evaporation also differs greatly. In addition, the wind, for example, behaves differently. We measure various meteorological parameters such as air temperature, precipitation and humidity in beech and pine forests and in the open land.
